War with China or Multipolar Peace?

By Perry Jones

Before we impart on building a framework for peace, we must first understand the circumstances that make such a framework necessary.

During World War Two, the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Canada and other powers assisted the Chinese people and the legitimate Kuomintang Chinese government confront and then defeat the Imperial Japanese. This legitimate Chinese government is now ensconced on the island of Taiwan. This is the Republic of Taiwan.

When the Imperial Japanese were defeated, Mao Tse-tung led the Imperial Communist forces to victory over the forces of the Republic of China which were now exhausted by 15 years of constant warfare with Imperial Japan.

That the Imperial Communist Chinese government persuaded its people to fight a war against the United States just a few years later - a nation who had assisted the Chinese people in every way, losing thousands of lives and shedding the blood of its young men to help make China free - is prima facie evidence of the duplicity and ulterior motives that lie at the heart of the Imperial Communist Chinese government.

President Nixon and Chairman Mao began a rapprochement in 1973 that began a long period of a steadily improving relationship between the United States and China, and leaders and the people of the United States began to feel that maybe China wasn't so bad after all.

Then in the first breath of the "Freedom Spring" which later blossomed and traveled across the world, in over 300 of China's cites, 100 million students, housewives, factory workers, academics, technicians and local government officials demonstrated for freedom, reforms and an end to corruption within the Imperial Communist Chinese government.

As these demonstrations were winding down in late May of 1989, 100,000 students and demonstrators occupied Tiananmen Square. On the night of June 3rd and 4th, 1989, the Imperial Communist Chinese government sent in troops, tanks and armored vehicles to clear the square. The students resisted and the troops opened fire while tanks and armored vehicles crushed innocent boys and girls beneath their treads. 7,000 innocent Chinese students died and many thousands more were injured. Hospital floors ran red with the blood of the innocent, mercilessly gunned down and run over by the apparatus of the Imperial Communist Chinese government.

Maybe China couldn't be trusted after all.

In the United States, the myth of a peaceful Chinese government was destroyed and the reality of the Imperial Communist Chinese government was revealed for what it truly was - a monstrous, evil government that crushes the hopes and dreams of political freedom, liberty, a free press of its own people, the people it claims to protect, but whose actions expose that claim as a lie.

In the western world we have a proverb, "actions speak louder than words." The actions of the Imperial Communist Chinese government do not only speak louder than its words, their actions contradict them.

Now we fast forward to today. Since the dismaying days of 1989, the United States has reached out to China, providing technological support, favorable nation trade status, helping it to join the World Trade Organization, helping it and hoping it will join the ranks of law-abiding nations worldwide. This was truly a new rapprochement and Chinese students attended in droves American colleges and universities, trade flourished between the nations and American athletic teams toured and traveled throughout China while Chinese performers toured the USA.

In 2008, China hosted the Summer Olympics which many say was the most spectacular Olympics of all. This was a great accomplishment and an impressive display of the potential a peaceful China can have toward contributing to the world in terms of its culture, history, entrepreneurship and engineering.

But how has China responded?

China has retained its tariffs sealing its’ domestic markets against American goods while Chinese goods flood the American market. American companies seeking to expand into the Chinese market must hand over their proprietary secrets in order to operate in China, China steals intellectual property of hundreds of copyright and patent holders around the world and it indiscriminately attacks the electrical and Internet networks of other nations and the United States through cyber warfare.

In the South China Sea, China invades the islands of other nations and builds islands in the open sea where no island existed before within the territories of other nations, damaging the marine environment, discouraging shipping and fishing, killing sailors and soldiers of other nations, using its naval forces to ram into the ships of other nations, invading other nations' territorial waters to conduct oil exploration or fishing and ignoring all norms of international law, morality or decency.

President Obama was promised by Xi jinping that China would never militarize the islands it had constructed in the South China Sea. But that is precisely what China has done. As a result, we now know that Xi Jinping cannot be trusted and his words are meaningless dribble. The Native Americans had a phrase they used to describe a person who has the same duplicitous chracter as Xi Jinping. They said that such a man spoke "with a forked tongue."

China has dishonored its commitment to the United Kingdom by interfering with the political process and squelching the free press in Hong Kong when it assured London it never would. It has jailed dissidents, raided peaceful churches and imprisoned those who dare to express independent thought outside the script of the Imperial Communist policy.

China threatens its neighbors with armed invasion even though this nation seeks freedom and liberty independent of China. It seeks only to live in peace; but China promises only war. These are not the actions of a benevolent China, they are analogous to those of Adolph Hitler prior to World War Two.

At the beginning of World War Two, Adolph Hitler changed the laws to make himself President-for-Life. Xi Jinping has done the same, changing the Chinese Constitution to make himself President-for-Life. Hitler began accruing all national power to himself, Xi Jinping is doing the same. If we recognize Hitler as a dictator, how then do we describe Xi Jinping?

Through its actions, the Imperial Communist Chinese government displays the behavior of a spoiled child. It cannot be trusted.

As a result of this aggressive behavior and the constant threats of force, the nations in the western Pacific region are rapidly building up their militaries to counter the growing threat from China and asking for assistance and aid from the United States.

It is the belief of the United States that all nations can live in harmony with each other when each nation respects international law.

In the western Pacific region, this role has fallen largely to the United States Navy. Other than two wars, in Vietnam and on the Korean peninsula, the U.S. Navy has maintained that peace and has continued to do so for almost three quarters of a century. Now the Imperial Communist Chinese party threatens that peace.

Lest it be overlooked, the United States has not been perfect - far from it.

From overthrowing legitimately elected governments, to economic coercion, from diplomatic blackmail to outright invasion, the concept of a peaceful world power had disappeared through its actions.

Much of these acts by both powers are inexcusable. But a way - a peaceful way forward must be found.

First let us establish a broad framework before we address the details of a way forward.

All nations seek peace. We share a single planet that is being stripped of its forests and increasing in environmental disaster.

We hope our children have a better future than our own, we seek good friends, good health, honest relationships and good careers. We seek the love of a man or woman and we seek to express our love. We desire drama free lives and the income to enjoy them. We seek the potential to dream dreams and achieve them. Some of us desire to start a business, others find their passion in art or music, some people give all they have to those less fortunate than they, while others seek to live their lives in harmony with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the teeming cities.

As human beings, we share common feelings, we share common aspirations and we seek similar goals. We establish institutions of government among men that we may live the lives we choose, to aspire to our hopes and dreams and to protect us from the dark desires of others.

Yet our Founding fathers recognized that men of darkness aspire to the highest reaches of political power and sometimes attain them. They knew that the best governments can do wrong, and that all governments will eventually grow insidiously and invasively to control the lives and confiscate the wealth of its citizens. To counter this tendency, they established a Constitution whose structure and framework seemed adequate to stymie these overreaches of government.

All human beings aspire to liberty. If the citizens of Russia, Iran, China, Cuba and North Korea were allowed to speak freely, they would all agree that liberty and the pursuit of happiness are both goals that we all desire.

How then do we frame a world of peace when the governments of the world have such disparate aims?

How do we build a workable framework when we must bridge the gap between an authoritarian state like Russia and a state such as the Vatican?

How do we bridge the gaps when a nation such as Israel is surrounded by enemies?

How do we build the framework of peace when men of dark design gain the weapons of war, the reins of government and indoctrinate its people to his own dark designs?

How do we build a world of peace when great powers of near equal potentials hold divergent views on how the world works, to the desires people aspire to and that resolution of differences on the battlefield are acceptable means of government policy?

The answers lie in the very questions we have asked.

Nations of near equal capabilities, whose world views are so divergent, must unite on common principles and themes while agreeing to build a framework that assures peace even when the times turn dark and no other option but war stares them in the face. This is the critical moment when each nation involved must take a breath and step back from the brink because the destructiveness of even conventional war in our times is almost incomprehensible.

First, each nation must commit to a policy of not attacking or invading another or using force except upon invasion by another power, to assist treaty partners or friends, in defense of national strategic interests, in defense of territorial integrity and to enforce international law.

When these interests clash or contradict each other, force must not be the first action we take, but the last, when all other possibilities are exhausted.

Instead of force of arms we must take up the implements of compromise and seek common ground. First, where do we disagree? Next, what alternatives are available? Third, is arbitration a viable option? Fourth, what actions would violate international law? Fifth, on what factors do we agree?

From this beginning, we may be able to reduce the chances of conflict between powers and actors.

Second, we should establish a "hot line" system where each national leader can immediately contact any or all other national leaders who have joined in this commitment.

Third, regular non-specific, and non-summit face-to-face meetings should be held at least quarterly. These meetings should be only meetings to discuss common problems and issues, not necessarily to resolve them. Let the technicians, ministers and secretaries work out any resolution.

Fourth, we must seek areas where we can agree to work together; to assist shipping in the Indian Ocean against pirates, to help each other inject resources, aid and supplies into areas of natural disaster, to provide food, clothing, water, shelter and health care in areas where these basic fundamentals of living are lacking, to aid and assist each other in the exploration of space, to commit to working together to find a way toward peace in areas where war has torn the region apart.

Fifth, in our discussions with those nations with whom we may disagree on many issues, we must find some program, some step or some course of action, regardless of how trivial it may seem, on which we can agree and implement that program. If we continue to seek such measures and implement them as we are able, we may eventually find ourselves standing on the threshold of a lasting, full-scale peace between us.

Sixth, all nations must recognize that the world is multipolar. Great nations will rise and fall. Some will diminish as others ascend. When we recognize this is the natural evolution of the human race, we can sit back and enjoy the ride rather than resorting to war.

Seventh, in a multipolar world, in which several nations may be peer competitors, we must observe and adhere to strict interpretations of international law in trade, commerce, cyber warfare - which must cease - and intellectual property, which must be protected.

As nations gain in power or lose stature, each nation, whether rising or declining, must commit to adhere to these international principles, commitments and to cooperation. War must be the final solution, not the first.

When nations act dishonorably, when they threaten their neighbors whether Taiwan, Ukraine or Israel, when nations grab lands not their own or build land in the territories of other nations, when they steal intellectual property, when they coerce, cajole and extort other leaders or nations or global actors to their own cause, when they seek to expand their land through force which is imperialism, then we have crushed the seeds of peace.

It is when nations and actors pursue a path of actions just short of war, that their opponents may find no solution other than a kinetic solution. This is poison to the seeds of peace.

The seeds of peace must be nurtured. They must be allowed to take root and grow.

It is only when we seek peace, that peace may be possible, but when we seek war, we make war almost inevitable.

Foreign Policy for the Next President

By Perry Jones

The Administration’s continuing dalliance with weakness and vacillation has placed the United States in a dangerous and precarious position. This heightens the security risk not only of the United States but also Europe, our NATO allies and friends and allies around the world.

Provocative steps by other nations can only be met with strength and certitude. The position of not wanting to antagonize or provoke another nation in the face of such actions is a position maintained only by those without a strategic sense or awareness of foreign policy or international politics.

Provocative steps can only be met with strength and authority. Half-measures – or no measures – as the Obama Administration seems to specialize in, only serve to encourage and facilitate potential opponents and adversaries into greater displays of strength and increased use of hostile and provocative actions to threaten other nations, gain political capital and acquire presence among their friends and world threats.

In order to maintain peace and international stability, we must recognize that there are bullies and bad actors in the world who seek nothing more than power, the acquisition of territory and violence directed at all those who oppose their aims.

President Obama’s weakness has placed the United States and our allies and friends into a severe state of security risk. Threats and aggressive moves by Iran, China, North korea, Syria’s Assad and Russia have all been encouraged by weakness in the White House. The next President must reverse this trend of indecisiveness, weakness, vacillation, fear, half-steps and half-measures.

The next President must put the world on notice – friend and foe alike - that the United States will no longer play the victim or roll over. The United States will no longer renege on its international promises or its obligations to international law or the security of Americans everywhere.

To this end, any armed aircraft or missile approaching within the designated security area of a US warship will be shot down. Russian forces in Syria and Ukraine must depart, surrender or be extinguished by US cruise missile strikes.

China must turn over the facilities on all islands belonging to other nations in the South China Sea to their rightful owners. United States Marines will facilitate this transfer.

Iran’s missile facilities will be targeted and struck by NATO forces if Iran violates any part of the agreements it has signed and Israel will be given authority to monitor and oversee this compliance.

These are just a sampling of the preliminary steps the next President must take to undo the damage done by eight years of foreign policy mistakes, weakness and the gutting of the United States armed forces.

When America demonstrates strength, we preserve peace. When we prepare for war, we deter war. When we meet violations of international law using force with strong measures of our own, we preserve the international order.

There can be no mistaking the strength or intentions of the United States beginning with the next President. Upon the inauguration of America’s next President, the United States must take a different course and display strength, commitment and decisiveness. The people of the United States need strong leadership which has been missing for eight years. The world needs a strong America. The people of the United States deserve no less. May God bless the United States of America.

United States Vetoes Ukraine's Application to Join NATO

Under President Obama, the United States continues to run scared and display weakness. With the recent Russian aggression in Ukraine and the subsequent annexation of Crimea, the United States has abandoned Ukraine to Putin telling Ukrainian officials in private that the United States will veto any attempt by Ukraine to join NATO.

Obama lives in a world of his own making that has no connection to the real world. Being played by Putin, he continues to believe the world is a rosy place in which if people only talk everything will be better. With this naivete', Obama allows himself to be played by those who see the world differently - and more realistically.

Our Liar-in-Chief is now saying that he hopes to avoid a hot war with Russia and will do anything and everything in his power to avoid it. If only Reagan were President now. Reagan understood tyrants and bullies and real-world politics. If Reagan were President, the Russian aggression of Ukraine would probably never have happened.

Those who use force to achieve their aims are stopped only by the threat of force. Talk has little sway over them because they do not believe in talk unless it serves their purpose - which is to attain more of their political or military agenda. Obama has walked into this quicksand by wearing rose-colored glasses that do not permit him to see quicksand or quagmires. As a result, Obama's actions over the last five years have encouraged tyrants, despots, dictators and powerful nations around the world to exercise their power to achieve their aims at the expense of the White House and the rule of law. Not only is Putin's actions a case in point, but so is Chinese action in the western Pacific, Assad's actions in Syria and Kim's actions in North Korea. Will there be another international ploy by someone who wants to play Obama?

Obama is getting played, and what is really sad is he doesn't even know it. By abandoning Ukraine and vetoing any application by Ukraine to join NATO, the United States is only making the current situation worse and laying the groundwork for more repercussions from other states and non-state actors in the future. Obama is making thins worse not better. Obama is making the world less safe, not more safe.

Obama has a view of geopolitics that is naive at best and dangerous at worst. To prevent a hot war as he seeks, you must prepare for one. Only by displaying strength do you prevent wars, not by appearing weak or appeasing bullies. This was a lesson we laerned during World War Two, but Obama seems never to have learned it nor studied history.

Our worst President in history may destroy the United States yet. This Amateur in the White House remains the worst choice the American people have made in our deteriorating state of the Executive office. From bad to worse, the caliber of our President's have been sliding downhill since Ronald Reagan. I feel only God can save us now. It is certainly beyond any human's capability and far beyond President Obama's.

Ukraine: The Beginning of World War 3?

The invasion of the Crimean peninsula of Ukraine by Russia on Friday, February 28th represents a clear and dangerous challenge to European peace and stability and the international rule of law.

This challenge to international law is a direct result of the failed foreign policy of a weak United States President who imposes "lines in the sand" and then turns around and runs away with his tail between his legs whenever any of his lines is crossed.

This cowardly action on the part of the current American Administration has emboldened powerful tyrants and despots around the world. The only time the current American President shows a stiff spine is when he is siccing the IRS and other executive tools against the very American people whose civil rights and liberty he is supposed to be protecting.

From a vacillating President, whose domestic policy is as much a shambles and train wreck as his foreign policy, we have a weakened American military which may be unable to adequately protect American interests and defend American allies.

Now is the time of decision. The President must act quickly, he must act decisively and he must act forcefully. Diplomatic solutions are ineffective with those who would use force to achieve their aims, unless they have already succeeded in those aims.

The worst that could happen is for the American President to do nothing except express grave concerns and spout unnamed "consequences" for the actions of those who would flout world peace and stability. To do nothing now only will embolden and encourage dictators, despots and tyrants around the world. Syria's Assad, North Korea's Kim, Iran, China and terrorist groups around the world may all be emboldened and encouraged to seek aggression to achieve their aims.

The President must act quickly. He must act decisively and he must act forcefully. These three aspects are outside the character of the American President who usually chooses to vacillate, to appease and then to turn tail whenever he is directly challenged. But the President must find it somewhere within himself to act, for now is the time for deliberate and forceful action.

The Russian President must be made aware that world tolerance for this type of behavior on the part of a great power will not be tolerated. Therefore, I propose the following actions to be taken immediately:
1. Cancellation of the G8 Summit in Sochi to be relocated to Paris or London and reconstituted as a G7 Summit.
2. Send elements of the 101st Air Assault and 102nd Airborne to Kiev.
3. Request the Polish President to request American anti-air and Patriot missile batteries to the border between Poland and Russia.
4. Send Patriot and anti-air batteries to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine to be replaced with permanent anti-aircraft and anti-missile batteries at some point in the future.
5. Send U.S. naval forces to shadow Russian fleet movements in the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, off the Atlantic seaboard of the United States and in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.
6. Freeze Russian assets in United States banks, the World Bank and the IMF.
7. Convene the UN Security Council to deliver a strong denunciation of Russian actions in Ukraine.
8. Call upon NATO to consider troop allocations and deployment within Europe and Turkey in light of the Russian aggression.

These steps are incremental, limited and deliberate. They constitute a forceful response to the Russian invasion in Crimea and all of these except for creating the East European missile shield are open to negotiation between Russia and the western powers.

By showing restraint coupled with the limited steps I have proposed, Russia will need to negotiate. The future of Crimea must be left to the people of Crimea and Ukraine, it cannot be and must not be allowed to be decided by a malevolent dictator bent on the forceful acquisition of a peaceful people. Russian troops must roll back to the bases within Russia, and 150,000 Russian troops on the border of Ukraine must return to their bases. The steps I have herein proposed will help assure that these measures occur.

The American President must act. To do nothing now will only encourage those around the world to use force to achieve their aims. They will be opposed by those who have the courage to oppose but who may not have the might to do so. This would lead to war. The American President must act quickly, decisively and forcefully now because to do nothing could very well lead to the beginning of World War Three.

As Gunshots Shatter Our Lives

The recent tragedy at the mall in New Jersey gives us all pause. Mass shootings in America are increasing.

My fear is this: That President Obama will use this spate of recent shootings and future shootings as an excuse to seize guns from the hands of the American people. Under the PATRIOT Act, he already has authority to do this. All he has to do is declare a national emergency of some kind and assume the authority granted by President by Bush's treasonous PATRIOT Act.

Why these shootings are occurring is a different question. Whether these shootings are initiated by a conspiracy of The Powers That Be or whether they are initiated by Satan or whether they are merely a coincidence or a function of the new American Way of Life, the fact that they are coming more rapidly, at an increasing pace cannot be denied. America is in a state of siege.

Confiscating the guns of Americans would be the wrong path to take. The right path would be a massive renewal of faith, a returning back to Jesus Christ our Savior and repenting of the sins of our nation. Without this mass revival, it is most likely that any other measure would fail to provide any actual safety although the illusion of safety may be instilled.

If current gun violence is a function of higher powers whose goal is to rid America of guns, then confiscating guns would quell the violence of guns. If the current gun violence is not a function of higher powers but rather a function of the current American Way of Life or some form of tragic coincidence, then the confiscation of guns will do little to quell the spate of mass shootings.

It is curious that the rash of recent tragedies in America have all coincided with a Federal drill mirroring the same type of incident as the real tragedy. For example, the bombings at the Boston Marathon coincided with a federal drill based around a bombing by terrorists at the Boston Marathon. In fact, the timing of the bombings matched the drill bombing timetable exactly. The tragedy of 9/11 coincided with a federal drill in which armed terrorists would hijack commercial airliners and fly them into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the Capitol building. The shooting at the Washington (D.C.) Navy Yard coincided with a federal drill in which an armed attacker fired shots near the Washington Navy Yard.

Each recent major event seems to coincide with a federal drill based on the same incident. I may believe in coincidences, but this is stretching coincidence to an extreme.

If federal planning coincides with each mass shooting and terrorist incident over the past 11 years, would this be indicative of some sort of planning of these incidents at a high level of government?

I leave the answer to that question to you, for me, I have already reached a conclusion.

North Korea

North Korea continues its bellicose rhetoric thinking it can defy international standards of order. Following continued statements throughout the week, North Korea today moved a long range missile to its east coast. This missile may have the range to reach the west coast of the United States.

President Obama's response to date has been extremely measured. A series of military exercises have been ongoing on the Korean peninsula conducted in conjunction with out South Korean allies. In response to Kim Jung Un's saber rattling, the United States has sent in two B2 Stealth bombers that dropped inert munitions on a training range on an island off South Korea, moved two destroyers into the region and transferred two F-22 Stealth fighters to a base in South Korea.

The Administration has also spoken of moving an offshore anti-missile platform into the region and beefing up anti-missile missiles in Alaska and Guam. But combined with the continued warmongering by North Korea which has upped the ante by positioning a long range missile on its east coast, the United States must in like turn up the ante.

Continued posturing by the current Administration is no longer enough to indicate to North Korea the resolve of the United States. Additional measures that North Korea can clearly understand must be initiated immediately in order to quell North Korea's bloodthirst for war.

The following actions must be immediately taken by the United States:

1. Move a carrier battle group into the region.
2. Move at least 1 and possibly up to 3 amphibious groups into the region.
3. Move a squadron of F-22 Stealth fighters to South Korea.
4. Move a squadron of F-35 Stealth fighters into the region.
5. Accelerate the trials of the F-37 naval Stealth fighter.
6. Open the current wargames to participation by the 82nd Airborne.
7. Open the current wargames to participation by the 101st Air Assault.
8. Announce to North Korea that all talks between the U.S. and North Korea are on hold until North Korea terminates its wartalk and saber rattling.
9. Announce to North Korea that the United States has opened talks with Mongolia, Russia and China to preposition interceptor missiles manned by American military personnel on their territory.
10. Move three guided missile and four attack submarines into the region.
11. Announce that the current wargames with South Korea will be extended by one month.
12. Announce to North Korea that all these actions are solely in response to North Korean actions over the last several weeks.
13. Announce to North Korea that these actions are irrevocable and that these forces will be removed only after a 90 day period of time in which the rhetoric and actions from North Korea maintain acceptable international standards of order.
14. The American President will go on TV to announce to the American people publicly the steps taken in 1 - 8 above and 10 - 13 above and reiterate that these measures are appropriate and responsible and taken only in response to the continuing threats to the United States and its allies by North Korea and that these measures will be reversed only when North Korea can demonstrate that it is a responsible member of the international community.

Obama, the Pope and the Ice Sculpture in Jerusalem

Obama is due to arrive in Jerusalem on March 20, according to local Israeli newspapers. At the top of the President's agenda is to convince (confirm?) Prime Minister Netanyahu that the US is serious about preventing Iran from developing a nuclear bomb. Is this "And he will confirm a covenant with many." - Daniel 9:27?

On the second day of Obama's visit, at precisely noon time, Obama will visit a model of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period.

Israel is also featuring an Ice Festival during the months of March and April. Although it is unclear if Obama will visit, a sculpture has been constructed in his image. Revelation 13:15 - "The second beast (the Pope?) was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed."

According to the prophecy of Saint Malachy written in 1138 A.D. St. Malachy stated there would be 112 popes of the Roman Catholic Church. St. Malachy did not assign names to these popes, but rather he described them in a descriptive manner. Pope number 111 he described as being of the olives or somehow being connected to olives. To some of his friends, Pope Benedict - who has recently resigned - was known as the Olivet Pope. Pope Benedict was also pope number 111.

Saint Malachy did make one exception in his descriptions of the future Popes of the Catholic Church. He said the final Pope, Pope number 112, would be a black man whom he named Peter of Rome.

Revelation 8:1, "When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour." On February 3, 2013, the Superbowl was played between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49er's. About a minute and a half into the third quarter following a 109 yard punt return by Jacoby Jones, the lights went out in the stadium. After about half an hour (34 minutes) the lights came on again. I have heard, and I tend to agree, that this period of about half an hour is symbolic of Revelation 8:1.

The second half of this game was also totally different than the first half. Although the Ravens held off the attack by San Francisco, the game was a much different game in the second half than it was during the first half. I believe this is also God's way of saying that the next three and a half years will be totally different than the last three and a half years.

A couple of years ago while sitting in church on a Sunday morning, I suddenly felt the impression to write something. I grabbed a church bulletin and on the back of it I wrote, "Within the next five days, the world will have changed." Five days later, the Arab Spring began.

I have that sane feeling again. But this time, I have this feeling: Within the next ten days, the world will have changed.

God is coming, Jesus will be here soon, I am ready to meet my maker (can;t wait in fact) are you ready?

Focusing On Solutions

Frankly, I really don't care what you think; I don't focus on the problem, I focus on the solutions. In my possible run for US Senate, it won't be my job to make you happy; it is my job to be honest. I know I don't have the answers to all the questions, but I know I will ask you for your help. I can't say I will accept your advice, but I do promise to listen. I won't be politically correct, I'll call it as I see it. In my search for answers, I will find the truth and seek to implement it, regardless of where that takes me. I expect the same of you.

Is America Falling Into Slavery?

“Every nation that has ended in tyranny has come to that end by way of good order. It certainly does not follow from this that peoples should scorn public peace, but neither should they be satisfied with that and nothing more. A nation that asks nothing of government but the maintenance of order is already a slave in the depths of its heart; it is a slave of its well-being, ready for the man who will put it in chains.” ― Alexis de Tocqueville

Capitalist Perfection

My belief is that capitalism is a near-perfect system, if all parties involved adhere to the moral principles and values of a sovereign God. Failing that, capitalism slowly devolves into a system of greed, power and wealth. That is what we see today in the US and it is observable in all nations that do not closely follow Christian principles.

Now that the US is no longer a Christian nation - regardless of what Sunday preachers or televangelists may claim - just look around for proof - a postcapitalist system must be implemented which is fundamentally different than the capitalism that built this nation. It must be fair, equalitarian (equal opportunity for all but not equal results for all) and adhere to principles which both theists and atheists can agree to. This postcapitalist system must also be open, transparent and comprehensive. Tax rates must be reduced, regulations loosened or eliminated, the Fed, IRS, DHS and Dept of Energy disbanded. Education must also be restructured. A charter school in Yuma, AZ seems to have a grasp of what is required. Rather than classrooms, students sit in cubicles. Lessons and course are available on the computers within each cubicle and teachers monitor and assist. Students learn by doing rather than by rote. And they learn at their own pace. This is just one method which seems to be working. The only thing I would change is for the students who have mastered the material to help those who have not.

Saving the GOP

The GOP candidate lost the presidential election because the party ignored a dominant shift in demographics. In order to win national office, the Republican Party must reorient itself toward these key demographics.

  1. it must reorient itself toward hispanic voters
  2. it must reorient itself toward immigrants
  3. it must reorient itself toward single women especially mothers
  4. it must reorient itself toward the impoverished and those receiving state and federal assistance, seeking ways to lift this demographic out of poverty
  5. it must reorient itself toward small business
  6. it must reorient itself toward all those earning less than 1 million dollars a year

In reorienting toward these demographics, the GOP must execute policy which the recipients perceive as beneficial to them, regardless of how legislators, pundits and decision makers create and implement policy initiatives.

In addition, the GOP must disassociate itself from special interests which are perceived by the American-body-politick as being detrimental, if not malevolent, to its own ideals. These include:

  1. disassociation with Big Business and its influence
  2. disassociation with Wall Street
  3. disassociation with back door and back room deals
  4. disassociation with any group or interest that puts its own needs ahead of the national interest

Although number 4 may be a challenge because every group - and every person - seeks to improve their position and status in life, we all can find ways to achieve these ends without jeopardizing the same for other groups.

Certain legislation should also be enacted to help the United States move forward without the dragging influence of special interests and the divisiveness Big Business and special interests create between Congress and themselves on one side and the American people on the other. Also certain initiatives should be executed to establish a baseline from which clear decisions can be made.

  1. balanced budget amendment
  2. 12 year term limits amendment for both the Senate and the House
  3. public and transparent audit of the Federal Reserve
  4. public and transparent audit of the Energy Department, FDA, Dept. of Education and the DOD.
  5. public and transparent audit of all recipients of TARP
  6. dissolve the IRS, Federal Reserve and the TSA
  7. revoke all policy, acts, initiatives and legislation which supersede the Constitution (e.g. TSA, wiretaps, seizure of private property)

And the GOP should support several initiatives and issues.

  1. unions which serve their membership and which do no disservice to the public or nation
  2. strict new legislation and regulations on the size and operations of Big Banks with a reemphasis promoting community banks
  3. a labor initiative which supports a realistic minimum wage, a minimum of 3 week annual vacations, protection of working mothers

How and in what way these initiatives should be supported must be left to discussion and debate within the halls of corporate America, around the watercooler, across kitchen tables and over coffee tables, in coffee shops and sports bars and in the halls and meeting rooms of Congress.

Finally there are at least 2 initiatives the GOP may consider.

  1. establishing that all natural resources of a state are the rightful property of the citizens of that state and that any extraction of said natural resources shall be licensed at a marketable, fair rate and at least 80% of such proceeds directly distributed to the recipients in the form of a check in their name mailed to their last known address or direct deposit to their bank account (think Alaska)
  2. requiring each corporation with gross revenues of 50 (100?) million or over to establish an employee trust fund to which 10% to 25% of profits shall be distributed and paid out to eligible employees monthly and an employees stock trust that shall hold no less than 10% of a corporations stock enabling employees to vote in corporate actions

With this plan in hand, the GOP may be able to recapture key demographics it has lost and help impel the US economy toward growth and greater productivity.

10-15-1 - A New Tax Plan

In my book I briefly reviewed a new tax plan. Here I will present this plan in greater detail.

10-15-1

10%
Individuals and corporations earning up to 1 million dollars would be taxed at a flat rate of 10% of income.

Most deductions and credits would remain in place, e.g. real estate, tuition credits, energy credits, interest payments and standard deductions for small business (up to 1 million annual revenues).

15%
Individuals and corporations earning over 1 million dollars annually would be taxed at 15% with fewer deductions and credits allowed.

Exactly what credits and deductions would be changed or modified would need to be left to Congress, but No increase or additional deductions or credits would occur.

1%
A nationwide 1% sales tax would be implemented. Food, rent and mortgage and basic necessities would be exempted.

I believe that, in conjunction with the elimination of most tax subsidies - if not all - and the implementation of a balanced budget this plan would go far to easing the debt and ensuring economic growth and stability.

Immigration Policy

I will suggest an immigrant policy, but as I have had such flak in the past, I expect the same again. Instead, this time I hope that you will post some helpful comments, keeping in mind that immigrants will soon be, (if not already are) a dominant force in American politics, the impact any such actions will have in individual communities and the good of the nation as a whole. My goal is to rebuild America, to make it strong again and have it based on the principles not only of our Founding Fathers (the Constitution) but also our Judaeo-Christian heritage. The following is a restatement of my position, gathered from previous posts - plus additional information, but my position remains unchanged from previously - I have just gathered everything into 1 post.

Immigrants coming to the US must meet several requirements:

  1. have at least a conversational command of English
  2. have adequate and confirmed ID (birth cert, passport, TBD)
  3. have completed a background check and health background review (felons and seriously ill not accepted)
  4. know the traffic laws of the US and pass a road driving test!
  5. prove a degree of knowledge about US history, geography, economics and politics
  6. agree to start or seriously (how to determine "seriously"?) attempt to start a small business within 1 yr or deportation will ensue
  7. have adequate financial means to sustain themselves for 3 months (6 months?) with no other income (should they run out of money they will be deported)
  8. agree to protect and defend the laws and the Constitution of the United States (a bit amorphous, but why not?)

Failure to adhere to any of the above will result in denial of entry .

Immigration is conditional not only upon the above points but also includes the following:

  1. will not be eligible for social benefits until they have been contributing to the economy for at least 1 year (Example: if they start a business or get a job after 1 yr in the country, they will be ineligible for benefits until another year has passed)

(1a. if they should become disabled within the first year, they will be deported)

  2. obtain adequate health and vehicle insurance within 90 days (180 days?)
  3. will not be eligible for college grants or loans until 1 yr has passed
  4. will not be eligible to vote until receiving citizenship

Because the United states is a benevolent, but enterprising nation:

  1. all school age children of immigrants will be eligible for public school from day of entry
  2. all applicants for immigration will not be denied entry if they meet all criteria as described above
  3. all immigrants will be eligible for emergency medical care from day of entry

(Note: trauma centers should be required to accept ALL patients who have experienced potentially fatal or life-threatening traumatic events - many do not now do so - (I was denied treatment))

All immigrants violating any of these conditions will receive 1 warning to correct the condition. The condition must be corrected within 30 days. Failure to correct the criteria, intentional violation of any point will result in deportation or, if prior to entry, denied entry.

Prior to entry, all applicants must meet all entry requirements at their own expense.

All immigrants currently in country will be eligible to remain in country upon proving they have met the above requirements or that they are working toward them - and they must successfully pass all requirements within 1 year. Failure to meet any 1 requirement will result in deportation.

School age and younger children, infants and all children of immigrants born in country will not be denied attendance at public school, emergency medical care or receipt of certain minimal social benefits as determined by their municipality.

All students must work toward meeting all above requirements within 1 year of matriculation of public secondary (or private or home) school and will not be eligible to apply for any higher education until they have done so or they must leave the country within 90 days OR agree to leave the country immediately upon matriculation from an institute of higher education.

Federal prerogative may accept certain professions - engineers, software and IT engineers, doctors, et al - and any profession as determined by federal authorities and waive any requirements as determined.

We Cannot Deport Illegal Immigrants

The reasons I am concerned about simply rounding up illegal immigrants are several and varied. To me, the rounding up of illegal immigrants would be similar to the rounding up of Japanese citizens in World War 2, with one exception which I'll state at the end. I feel the destructiveness to an already weakened US economy would be unsustainable, that entire communities and neighborhoods would be literally destroyed, that families and churches would be ripped apart, that foreign relations with other countries would be damaged, agriculture in some states would take a massive hit – driving up food (primarily fruit & vegetable) prices throughout the United States , that the prestige of America would be debased and the perception by other nations and peoples – plus many Americans (me included) is that the US talks a good line about human rights but doesn’t really support them, and, most importantly to me, I don’t think a good Christian would do it. The Bible says to accept the alien into your home and welcome him. Jesus says to clothe the naked and feed the hungry, he didn’t say “check their papers.”

I will address these points individually.

1. Communities, neighborhoods, families and churches would be ripped apart producing a traumatic event within the church, neighborhood, community – and especially the family.

"Imagine that one day you received notice that you and your whole family must be ready to move within 48 hours. You could take only the possessions you could carry and no one would tell you when you would be permitted to return home. Sound like a bad dream? This happened to over 100,000 United States citizens and legal residents during World War II.” –Mary Daly

Most ethnic groups tend to gather in clusters. In some cases during World War 2, communities and churches lost over half of their membership due to the internment of the Japanese and many “white” owned businesses were forced to close due to loss of customers.

"Long-term health consequences included psychological anguish as well as increased cardiovascular disease. Survey information found former internees had a 2.1 greater risk of cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular mortality, and premature death than did a non-interned counterpart."
"The Experience of Injustice: Health Consequences of the Japanese American Internment", Gwendolyn M. Jensen

"Recognizing the great injustice that took place, they carry with them the legacy of their parents' internment. Time has not severed the psychological ties to events that preceded them, nor has the fact that their parents will not openly discuss the internment. On the contrary, the vast majority of Sansei (third generation) feel that the incarceration has affected their lives in significant ways..."

- "Legacy of Injustice: Exploring the Cross-Generational Impact of the Japanese American Internment", Donna K. Nagata, 1993.

"Trauma may directly or indirectly affect the children of trauma victims. The multiple pathways of its effects create a variety of consequences. Despite the silence, or perhaps because of it, the Sansei who had a parent interned felt the effects of that experience in numerous ways. They are sad and angry about the injustice and attribute a number of negative consequences in their own lives to their parents' internment. These include feelings of low self-esteem, the pressure to assimilate, an accelerated loss of the Japanese culture and language, and experiencing the unexpressed pain of their parents."

- "Legacy of Injustice: Exploring the Cross-Generational Impact of the Japanese American Internment", Donna K. Nagata, 1993.

2. The economic and agricultural impact to the country would be severe.

“The World War II evacuation of Japanese farmers from the Pacific Coast caused a staggering labor shortage created by the U.S. Government itself, which then wrestled with forced transfer of confiscated farmlands to new “non-Japanese” owners and lessees.”

“Removal of the Japanese would disrupt the California vegetable industry. Japanese truck farmers, he said, produced crops valued at 40 million dollars annually and interned Japanese “stand to lose approximately 100 million dollars in investments” because of confiscation or forced sale by the U.S. Government.” Nobumitsu Takahashi, agricultural coordinator for the Japanese-American Citizens League

It is estimated that at least 8% of all illegals own their own business. Some businesses owned by illegals employ hundreds of people. Nearly 100% of illegals pay taxes. Illegals represent 3.48% of the entire US population and 5% of the US work force. Japanese interned during World War represented just 0.09% of the US population but the economic effects were far-reaching.

The cost of redistributing assets of illegal immigrants in event of forced repatriation - homes, cars, stock, mutual funds, land, farms, boats, small business and big business - has not been estimated.

The repatriation of illegals would not create jobs. Those jobs would be eliminated. Several economists forecast a net 1.1% decline in US economic activity if all illegal immigrants are repatriated.

Between 1996 and 2003, the IRS has received $50 billion in taxes from illegal immigrants.

San Diego county administrators estimate that of all the farms in San Diego county, 98% would be forced to close if illegals were repatriated.
“The avocado trees that blanket the hills of Fallbrook and Valley Center, those all go away without farm workers. So do the oranges here in San Pasqual Valley, the nurseries of San Marcos and Vista, the Carlsbad flower fields,” said Larson.

If we use a conservative figure of $1,000 as the cost to repatriate one illegal immigrant, the total cost to repatriate all illegal immigrants would be $11.5 billion. The economic impact would be several times greater.

A cost benefit analysis of illegal immigrants within the US indicates an almost 4 to 1 benefit in terms of economic impact, i.e. the benefits outweigh expenses by nearly 4 to 1. In agricultural communities this can be as high as 12 to 1.

3. Impact on foreign relations.

The US – Mexico relationship is already complicated. In 2011, Mexico deployed troops along its border to protect immigrants entering the US illegally. That same year, US customs agents and Mexican Federales engaged in a firefight ending in the death of 3 US customs agents. Mexico has stated that the prohibition by the US of allowing Mexican immigrants to enter the US legally or illegally would be detrimental to the US-Mexican relationship. In 2008, a squad of Mexican troops crossed the US border with Arizona escorting a group of illegal immigrants.

“In the 1980s, the US accorded such a high priority to deterring illegal immigration from South and Central America, that it was willing to sacrifice human rights standards, humanitarian values and significant foreign policies and goals to achieve those ends.” Immigration as Foreign Policy, Jorge Dominguez – Harvard University

"The significant role that immigration policy continues to play in U.S. foreign affairs has been lost in current debates about immigration in the U.S. Immigration has always had critical consequences for immigrants’ countries of origin, from money sent to family back home to the brain drain for educated workers. Immigrants and their children have long continued to shape political and cultural developments in their homelands."

"How the U.S. treats those within its borders reverberates internationally, by influencing its global reputation, as well as its international economic relationships. That was true during the days of steamships, letters, and telegraph cables, and it remains true in our world of jets, Skype, and YouTube." -Diedre Moloney, Princeton University

The influence of the US on world affairs is determined by its actions at home as well as abroad. The deportation of millions of illegal immigrants would negatively impact our influence with dozens of nations and could cause many close allies to reconsider their relationship to the US. At best, these allies would impose some degree of cir$#%spection and may be less inclined to accept US pronouncements at face value. Forging new trade agreements, engaging in international groups and strengthening or creating military ties would all prove to be exacerbated by what we do to illegal immigrants within the US.

The one exception? The one major difference between the rounding up of Japanese residents in World War 2 and the rounding up of illegal immigrants now is that the effects of any such round-up would be some 564 times greater.

Get Out!

By Perry Jones

Leave the USA! The time has come for all True Believers to get out of Babylon. The United States is Babylon. The judgment has been decreed and is being delayed only until the number of True Believers who choose to leave has been fulfilled. As soon as they are gone, the judgment will fall. The judgment may not fall this week, this month, this year or it may be delayed 200 years, but God is not giving us the option to delay our departure. If you are going, move now! God knows there will be some who choose to remain behind. For those who make such a choice, God will be with you to the end, but you should expect to die.

Take whatever you can, sell everything else, convert it to cash. Use this cash to establish yourself in a new place. Almost any country is good, with some common sense exceptions; southern Europe, the Mideast, North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Somalia, etc. If there is any country or place you wanted to visit or move to, now is the time.

Do not count on the US government to continue your Social Security, Medicare, welfare, government pensions or any entitlement program. These all may disappear.

The Rapture is due at the Last Trumpet which comes after the Tribulation. God is calling you now to receive His Protection, otherwise you will share in the judgment that has been decreed for Babylon.

There are some whom God is caling home now. These are mostly children and the elderly. God wishes to spare them the horrors of the judgment, therefore they are being called home now. Do not count on being called home, you are being called to get out.

Remember that wherever you go, Jesus will be there with you and when you arrive He will show you what to do next.

My Mission

My Mission by Perry Jones

I am on a mission to change the world and I can do it – one person at a time.

My objective is to be a cross between Billy Graham and Tony Robbins.

My goal is to help people who don’t know God to come to know God by understanding that God has a very specific and well-defined purpose for their life. And, if they are out of work, struggling financially or if they are not happy and filled with joy, they are not living that purpose. And then I want to help people discover what that purpose is.

For Christians and for those who believe they know the Lord, I want to tell people that if their life is not filled with bright, positive and empowering relationships, that if they are not free from overeating, addictions, alcohol, anger, fear or poverty, if their heart is not filled with joy and happiness, that they are living in sin and not doing what God has planned for them to do. It is my belief that these are the people to whom Jesus will say; “Be gone from me, I never knew you.”

I want to teach the Good News of the Kingdom of God. And I want to teach people that by living the life God has planned for you, you will build the Kingdom in your life, moment by moment and brick by brick and that day by day, that kingdom will manifest itself more and more in your life.

It is my belief that by all of us working individually to build the kingdom of God in our lives, we help to build the Kingdom of God on Earth. And that as the number of people doing this increases and reaches a critical stage, Jesus will return to Earth.

Billy Graham was a great evangelist who brought millions of people to God. Tony Robbins has helped millions of people find the strength within themselves to turn their lives around and achieve the success they had only dreamed of. I want to combine these two works so that millions of people can come to know Jesus and help build Christ’s Kingdom through the process of rebuilding their lives. I want people to understand that there is no life too damaged, no dream too shattered, no problem so overwhelming, that Jesus can’t fix it and He will, if they but turn their lives over to Him.

This is the latter rain. Help me to bring the rain. Help me to take shattered lives and rebuild them, help me to take lukewarm Christians and light a fire in their souls, help me to bring the rain to those who have never received a drop of water in their lives. Help me to restore Christian principles to a shattered America. Help me to heal broken hearts and desperate lives. Help me to reach out to the homeless, the helpless and the unemployed and show them there is hope, there is help and there is possibility. Help me to bring hope where there was only fear, to bring joy where there was only anger, to bring peace where there was only violence and to bring Jesus where He was unknown.

Will you do me a favor? The training required to bring hope to the hopeless, help to those who have given up on help and love to those who have only known fear will cost $25,000. Help me. Please donate as much as you can, if you can donate $20 or more that would be great but even if you can only give a few dollars or a dollar or two, that would be a big help.

Please dig deep and help me. Help me to create the latter rain. Help me to bring peace to broken hearts, help me to bring hope to shattered lives, help me to bring a chance to moms and dads who have been out of work for months and have nearly given up, help me to bring a helping hand to families facing overwhelming odds and the chance of happiness to faces now stained with tears.
Please give $20, $50, $100, $1000 or even $25,000. But if all you can give is a dollar or two, every bit counts, every bit helps and I would be extremely thankful for anything you can give and for any prayers you pray.

Thank you for your help. You can also help by buying one of my books. There are several books I have written. You can click on the link to go to my book page. Please donate as much as you can or buy a book. And please, please, please pray that my endeavor will be God-driven and successful. I can use all the prayers I can get.

Thank you.
